The profile of the maritime sector on Merseyside has developed of late. The World Heritage Status of the Liverpool waterfront, the events programme making up "Sea Liverpool 2005" and the International Conference for cruise liner executives are just three examples of this.

Ideopolis International is working closely with Mersey Maritime on a range of strategies aimed at profile raising and collating in-depth research on the maritime sector in Merseyside.

Our programme of collaboration includes an active learning seminar programme New Frontiers for the Maritime Industries: A Merseyside Perspective. The agenda for this programme would include maximising the potential opportunities presented by The Northern Way and the Maritime Hall of Fame.
